The "IV Seasons" exhibition by Armand Strainchamps
From 22 March to 30 April 2024POST Luxembourg is hosting an exhibition entitled "IV Seasons", inviting the general public to come and remember the late artist. Armand Strainchamps (1955-2023). Curated by Danielle IgnitiThis exhibition was produced in collaboration with Art Work Circle and with the support of POST Luxembourg.
Spread over four different areas - the building's ground, first, second and third floors - more than 30 paintings and a life-size sculpture are on display.
A tribute exhibition
The "IV Seasons" exhibition project began 18 months ago, with a concept developed by Armand Strainchamps and Art Work Circle. We wanted to keep it that way to perpetuate the memory and honour the artistic legacy of Armand Strainchamps. Thanks to the support of POST Luxembourg, we have been able to create a space where the work of Armand Strainchamps can continue to shine.
This exhibition is a testament to Armand Strainchamps' contribution to contemporary art in Luxembourg. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in this artistic universe and celebrate life through the intensity of the colours, the ingenuity of the line and the beauty of his works.
Armand Strainchamps was a long-standing friend of Art Work Circle, which he did not hesitate to join when it was created in 2016. More than just a member, he played an essential role in the genesis of this artistic platform. Like a mentor, he has shared his knowledge and experience with the AWC teams, inspiring them to constantly rethink how art can be promoted and enjoyed online.

An exceptional opening
The opening of this exceptional exhibition took place on 21 March 2024 in the presence of H.R.H. the Hereditary Grand Duchess, national political representatives, cultural figures from Luxembourg, art lovers, friends and relatives of the artist. Around 300 people attended this unforgettable event.
