Olivier Minaire
Olivier Minaire was born in Metz on 9 November 1981.
An artist like few others...
Olivier Minaire travels the world of photography, producing images of breathtaking beauty. This passion was passed on to him by his father, himself a photographer. So Olivier Minaire was born into this world, which is familiar and even obvious to him. His second nature as an artist has been honed over time by the experiences he has had on a daily basis.
His photos exude an incredible feeling and depth: they show us that Olivier Minaire doesn't look at the world, but observes it to capture the unfathomable, that which is not necessarily seen by the untrained eye. His eyes betray his great sensitivity and his dreamy spirit.
Some of his shots are like poetry {...}. In this way, scenes that appear similar will in fact be completely different. Which goes to show that photography is an art that doesn't leave room for improvisation, and Olivier Minaire is well aware of this. And it is as a great professional and a passionate young man that he captures the light, the humanity and the poetry of this world.
