Jonas Byström
Jonas Byström is a Swedish photographer and independent photobook publisher based in Luxembourg since 2007.
In the past, he has lived in Japan and on the island of Borneo, as well as having worked in some fifty countries, which has given him many opportunities for different types of photography.
His photographic career began in the early 1980s and in the mid-1990s he worked with the Bazaar photo agency. In 2017, he launched Fine Photo Art (fipha) and has since published five photographic books and six "Quotes & Images" booklets for smartphones.
It offers fine art photo prints in limited editions of 10, from the 15 fipha galleries and 5 fipha photo books that document the world around us in an aesthetic and seductive way, attempting to reveal the extraordinary in the ordinary, and the beauty in the transient and imperfect (wabi sabi) as well as in the passage of time (shibui).
